EPL Activities at the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) North America 35th Annual Meeting
EPL is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) North America 35th Annual Meeting in Vancouver, BC from November 9-13, 2014. We will be in Booth #209.
EPL is recognized as a leader in the field of environmental toxicologic pathology and is the preferred provider for the collection, processing, and evaluation of tissues from aquatic species and field or laboratory studies that concern potential toxicological agents.
Dr. Jeff Wolf will be presenting a poster titled, “Non-lesions, Misdiagnoses, Missed Diagnoses, and Other Interpretive Challenges in Fish Histopathology Studies.” This poster will describe differentiating salient histopathologic changes from normal anatomic features or tissue artifacts. The objectives of this project were to identify specific morphologic findings in commonly examined fish tissues that are frequently either misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed, and to illustrate such findings through the use of photomicrographic examples.
