EPL Pathologist Selected by the Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP) to Receive the First Distinguished Early Career Award
Dr. Arun R. Pandiri, BVSc&AH, MS, PhD, DACVP, DABT, a veterinary pathologist at EPL, has been selected to receive the first Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP) Distinguished Early Career Award, which is to be presented at the Annual Meeting in Washington, DC on Wednesday, June 25, 2014.
The Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP) Distinguished Early Career Award is given to a member in good standing who has made significant, early career advances in toxicologic pathology. The award is intended for young investigators (within 10 years of residency/postdoctoral study completion) who have distinguished themselves in industry, government, education, and/or public service.
Dr. Pandiri has made significant achievements in molecular pathology in the five years since completing his residency. He has been prolific and diverse in research and publication in his areas of interest which include carcinogenesis, investigative pathology, digestive system pathology, respiratory system pathology, and avian pathology.
