EPL Presentations at the 2016 Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP) Annual Meeting

EPL is pleased to announce that our veterinary pathology staff will once again be associated with multiple presentations and scientific posters at the 2016 Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP) Annual Meeting to be held in San Diego, CA from June 25-29, 2016.

Oral Presentations

Dr. Jeff Wolf and Dr. Gabrielle Willson will be speaking at The NTP Satellite Symposium, “Pathology Potpourri,” which is scheduled from 9:00am – 4:30pm on Saturday, June 25th.  Dr. Wolf will present “RSCABS: Picking at Histopathology Data” at 9:30am.  Dr. Willson will present “Thinking Thinking!” at 10:00am.

Dr. Peter Mann will give a presentation titled, “Adverse or Adaptive? No, It Is an Artifact” as part of CE Course 4, Is It Adverse, Adaptive, Artifact?, on Sunday, June 26th 1:30pm – 5:30pm.  Dr. Tom Steinbach will serve as a Co-Chair for this session.

Dr. Paul Snyder will be a Co-Chair for Session 4B titled, “Influence of Epigenetics, Genetics, and Immunology.”  This session will be held on Wednesday, June 29th from 1:30pm – 5:00pm.

Poster Presentations

Dr. Gabrielle Willson will be presenting the poster, “Thymomas in Fischer 344/N Rats in the National Toxicology Program Database.”   The poster highlights a description of the morphological features, incidences, and behavior of thymoma in F344/N rats in NTP studies.

Dr. Karen Cimon will be presenting the poster, “The Route of Exposure Influences Nasal Lesion Distribution in Rats in NTP Studies.”  This review focuses on lesion occurrence and distribution in a chronic inhalation study compared to two drinking water and three gavage studies conducted by the NTP.
