EPL Presentations at the 36th Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP) Annual Symposium


EPL is pleased to announce that our veterinary pathology staff will once again be associated with multiple presentations and scientific posters at The 36th Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP) Annual Symposium to be held in Montreal, Quebec from June 24-29, 2017.  The focus of this year’s symposium is the musculoskeletal system.

EPL will have three pathologists give presentations as part of The NTP Satellite Symposium, “Pathology Potpourri,” scheduled from 9:00am – 4:30pm on Saturday, June 24th.  Dr. Torrie Crabbs will be speaking from 9:10am – 9:30am.  Her talk is titled, “Renal Papillary Perplexities.” Dr. Ramesh Kovi will be giving a talk from 9:30am – 10:00am titled, “Straight from the Heart,” and Dr. Erin Quist will be presenting, “Pathology Grab Bag,” from 10:00am – 10:30am.

Dr. Erin Quist will be also presenting a poster, “Intertubular Seminoma in Sprague Dawley Rats:  A Novel Presentation of a Rare Rodent Tumor?”

Dr. Karen Cimon will be presenting a poster, “Spontaneous, Treatment-Related, and Iatrogenic Lesions in the Nasopharyngeal Ducts of Rats and Mice.”

Dr. Ramesh Kovi is a co-author of two posters to be presented, “Alterations in MAPK Signaling in Alveolar Bronchiolar Carcinomas From B6C3F1/N Mouse Exposed to Antimony Trioxide by Inhalation for 2 Years,” and “Exome Sequencing of Spontaneous and Chemically-induced Hepatocellular Carcinomas in B6C3F1/N Mouse Identifies Unique Somatic Mutations.”

Dr. John Seely also is a co-author of a poster to be presented, “Uterine Serosal Cysts In Harlan Sprague-Dawley Rats From National Toxicology Program Studies.”
