EPL Veterinary Pathology Staff Update

EPL is pleased to announce that Dr. Ramesh Kovi has joined the EPL staff as a veterinary pathologist.  Prior to joining EPL, Dr. Kovi was an Assistant Professor and Comparative Pathologist at the University of Minnesota.  Dr. Kovi holds a Master of Veterinary Sciences degree in Veterinary Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and a PhD in Cancer Biology.  He was a resident in anatomic pathology at the University of Minnesota and became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in anatomic pathology in 2012.

Dr. Kovi is a member of the Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP) education committee and participates in other activities of various professional organizations.  Additionally, Dr. Kovi serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals including Veterinary Pathology, Cancer Letters, JVDI, Life Science and Journal of Virological Methods.  His areas of expertise and interests are in carcinogenesis/cancer biology, investigative pathology, neuropathology, reproductive pathology, dermatopathology, cell migration and metastasis, and molecular and cellular biology.
