The evaluation of potential effects of a test article on animal tissues following single and repeated dose exposure is at the core of characterizing hazards and understanding a toxicity profile. The pathologists at EPL have many years of experience evaluating tissues from rodent and non-rodent species utilized in these studies. In addition to standard staining methodology, special preparations may be included to examine the potential pathogenesis of lesions or effects on cellular physiology, such as with TUNEL and Ki-67 stains, or special techniques.
