EPL is pleased to announce that Dr. Tom Steinbach will serve as Vice President of EPL, Inc. As EPL Vice President, Dr. Steinbach will work with EPL’s President and other corporate officers to formulate and implement EPL’s strategic goals. He will continue to oversee all operations in EPL’s North Carolina facility and manage EPL’s largest government contracts with the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS); one providing Pathology Quality Assurance to the National Toxicology Program (NTP) and another providing biorepository services to the NTP and NIEHS.
Dr. Steinbach is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine. He was certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in 2005 and the American Board of Toxicology in 2013. His areas of expertise are electron microscopy, nanotoxicology, swine pathology, and sand rat pathology.
Dr. Steinbach is an avid runner; he has participated in numerous marathons and is scheduled to run both the Boston and London marathons in April of 2017. He is also a youth hockey coach, coaching his daughter’s U10 team, and enjoys woodworking in his spare time.
