Daniel Zadory is a certified Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). He is also a member of the National Society for Histotechnology (NSH) and the Project Management Institute. Daniel serves as the Principal Investigator and contributing scientist for study phases involving histology and special techniques, such as immunohistochemical (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and whole slide imaging scopes of work. He oversees laboratory services at our Sterling, Virginia laboratory and manages EPL’s histology unit supervisors and research associates, providing technical direction on special techniques projects. He has broad-ranging experience in project management and laboratory methodologies, including necropsy, histology, IHC/IF assay development, quantitative morphometric analysis (e.g. stereology), epifluorescence/brightfield microscopy, and in vivo and ex vivo experimentation.
